How can you say no?

Regal is around 6 years old and weighs about 70 pounds. He is house trained and walks well on a leash. He likes cats, other dogs and humans of all ages.

He will need a fenced in yard or to be on a leash because he tends to follow his nose and gets lost. Regal has seizures controlled by medication.

He is the sweetest boy and will make a loving house guest.

Can you let him stay with you?

Dumped, please help.

Can you please foster four small puppies by tomorrow, Tues, 1/6/26?

Two little girls and two little boys, each weighing about 4-5 pounds and are around 7 wks old.
They were found in the woods beside a busy road and rescued but need a place to stay while MARC vets them and finds them good homes.

Don't forget Bluey

Three year old Bluey needs to move to an active foster or forever home very soon.

He is in a small outside kennel and is not getting much attention or exercise. He really wants to stretch his legs and to play. Bluey will need a secure place to run and would love to go on hikes. He is very good with female dogs his size, around 65 lbs. He is so eager to play that small dogs are not sure what to make of him. He is good on outings to Lowe’s and Tractor Supply and loves the attention of humans.

The breed identifier on my phone suggests that Bluey might be a German Shorthair Pointer/Heeler mix.

Can you please help out Bluey and let him stay with you until he finds his forever home?

Chevy: A Fearless Survivor Ready for Adventure! Meet Chevy, a breathtaking nine-month-old Tortoiseshell beauty (approx. 4.5 lbs) with a story that proves her incredible resilience! At just six weeks old, she was a tiny stowaway, bravely surviving a 40-mile ride under a car hood! Now safe and loved, Chevy has traded highway journeys for high-speed playtime. This smart, fearless, and sweet girl is an active companion who loves emptying the toy box and turning the room into her personal playground! Good with other cats and older dogs, Chevy is looking for a family who appreciates a spunky, gorgeous kitty ready to fill their home with fun and affection. If you're ready for an active, loving partner, meet Chevy! Apply today at https://marc4change.org/

The following is from Chevy's foster mom:
I am Chevy's foster mom. She absolutely loves to play fetch and retrieve.
She will love anyone who will play with her.
She is a little skittish with loud noises and fast movement (unless I'm throwing her ball). But then, given her ride down & up the mountain, I guess she's entitled to that!
She loves her breakfast, gentle head kisses, rough housing with the other cats, learning new things.
She'd like to play with the dog, but Tipper is too old for all her energy.
She has finally figured out the pet door to the basement and is the queen explorer.
When it's warm she loves sunbathing on the screen porch.
She is beginning to curl up on my lap in the evening.
The highest point on any of the cat trees is one of her favorite places to be.
I'll be honest, If I was 10 years younger I would keep her in a heartbeat. But at this point, statistically, she will outlive me and that hurts my heart to think what she'd have to go through in her old age being shuffled from a shelter to a new home (or worse).....
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I would really love for her to find a good furever home.

Ring in the New Year!

Bluey: Your Next Friendly, Hug-Loving Family Member!

Hello there! Bluey here, and I'm a handsome, friendly boy (approx. 3 years old, 60 lbs, Australian Cattle Dog/German Shorthair Pointer mix) just waiting to join your family! I'm already house trained, adore being with my people, and especially love children! I'm very social, enjoy playing with other dogs, and have tons of energy for running. My favorite reward? Hugs and kisses! I'm currently working hard with a trainer to polish my skills and promise to be the very best boy for you. If you would like to learn more about Bluey, please fill out an adoption application on our MARC website www.marc4change.org

P.S. Bluey also needs a foster home. Foster to see if he is the perfect fit for you.

It’s that time of the year again.

But while we celebrate with fireworks, many animals spend the night terrified.

Every loud bang sends dogs and cats into panic—trembling, hiding, or running for tjeir lives.

For strays and rescued animals who have already known fear and abandonment, this night feels like danger all over again.

They don’t understand the celebration.

They only feel the fear.

This New Year’s Eve, let’s choose kindness.

Keep pets safe indoors, secure your surroundings, and show a little compassion to the strays in your area.

A quieter night for us can mean comfort, safety—even survival—for them.

Let compassion be part of our celebration. ❤️🐾
