Our first fun-filled dog show benefiting Healing4Heroes was truly something special! From inspiring speakers and touching stories to laughter, games, and so many smiles—it was a day we won’t soon forget.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible judges and speakers, who gave their time, insight, and compassion to make the event both meaningful and memorable. Your words and thoughtful participation brought so much depth to the day.

We are incredibly grateful to Stephanie for the gorgeous photography, Stephen, owner of Peace of My Heart Puppy Training & In-home Boarding and a Navy veteran, whose passion and presence made such an impact. WDEC’s ride or die (literally🙄🥰) Katie, went above and beyond—pushing through exhaustion and other commitments to give 100% to the dogs and veterans (including a 6am day of arena drag and water prep!). The entire Healing4Heroes team was nothing short of amazing.

A heartfelt welcome and thank you to our newest Willow Dell Equestrian Center barn family member, Netty, and her darling girls—true rockstars who jumped right in to help.

And special thanks to Piper for serving our country and for founding H4H. Finally- Amanda Harris—who claimed victory in the Día de los Mu***os ping pong showdown (I may still be a little bitter 😄)—but more importantly, whose dedication to the dogs, veterans, and helping others inspires us all to do better and be better.

Saturday is the big day at Willow Dell Equestrian Center—we’re honored to host Healing4Heroes!

Healing4Heroes does incredible work: rescuing unwanted dogs, training veterans to become skilled dog trainers and handlers, and ultimately pairing those dogs with disabled veterans and their families. It’s a mission that changes lives on both ends of the leash.

A heartfelt thank-you to our generous sponsors who make events like this possible. A special shoutout to our local gem Pollard in Senoia, who stepped up without hesitation to provide an accessible Lions Den restroom and handwashing station—no ask needed, just community in action. The team of volunteers working on this is second to none- official gratitude post coming later!!

Our hearts are with Jill Jones, a beloved hunter/jumper trainer who has dedicated her life to helping riders grow with confidence, compassion, and good horsemanship. Jill has spent countless hours in the ring supporting others — now it’s our turn to support her.

Jill was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma, an unimaginable challenge for anyone, but especially for someone who is self-employed in our industry. As many of us know, trainers pour their souls into their clients, their horses, and their barns — often without the safety net that traditional jobs provide.
