Keep pets inside if possible. Away from fireworks and loud noises.
Keep windows closed and draw the shades to reduce sound and flashing lights.
Don’t leave pets alone if they’re easily frightened by loud sounds.
Act calm and reassure pets with gentle attention like petting or belly rubs.
If you think your pet needs medication to manage their stress, talk to your veterinarian.
