4 week pup date
We have had some lovely weather this week that was perfect for outdoor playtime! They still sleep a lot but It's been fun to watch their personalities emerge more every day. Weaning has begun and the babies are doing well with eating soft food.

It was the pups first time to have their playtime outside in the grass today. They loved it! I'm sure It won't be long ...

The puppies are 2 weeks old and growing so quickly!
Their eyes have just opened up and altho they are fairly wobbly they are already beginning to walk around. It will be fun to watch them explore their world within the next week or so.

This litter has been full of surprises but they've been good surprises! Haha!

We always try to guess the number of babies before they are born and I'm usually pretty close! Based on the size of Bella's tummy this time I guessed 8 and felt that was a pretty generous guess! Needless to say, she surprised us with not 8 but 10 beautiful babies!

They also arrived about 3 days earlier than I expected. Thankfully everything went as smoothly as can be and the babies and mother are doing fantastic! She has always been a terrific mother and the babies are all active and growing beautifully.šŸ‘

This litter is divided evenly with 5 males and 5 females. 4 chocolate and 1 black of each gender.
For those of you who are on the wait list, just know that we are going to be allowing the puppies some more time to grow but I hope to be be reaching out to you before too long. šŸ™‚

šŸ¾And we are excited to share about Bella and Charlie's new puppies expected next month!

If you noticed Bella's baby bump in the last post your eyes weren't playing tricks on you! šŸ˜‰ She has always been an Amazing mother to her babies and it's the sweetest thing to watch. We can't wait! šŸ™‚

We expect to have chocolate, black and possibly yellow in this litter and they should be ready to home mid December-ish. Our wait list is growing but there are still a few spots open. If a Christmas puppy was already on your wishlist this year, be sure to reach out! šŸ™‚

Hey! We may have been quiet here on FB this summer but our summer has been anything but quiet! Now as Fall rolls around you will probably see a little more from us. šŸ™‚
We wanted to share a few pictures from our afternoon playtime. The dogs have enjoyed playing fetch, swimming in the pond with the kiddos, and helping pick veggies in the garden this summer. Bella especially LOVES green beans and would just pick some herself if we weren't fast enough at giving her some. Lol

It's always bittersweet a day when the last of the puppies goes home and today was that day. We really enjoyed our time...

Pebbles is still looking for her forever family! The saying ' Big things come in small packages ' is true for Pebbles. She is sweet and spunky and full of life! She likes to talk and it's the sweetest thing to watch. šŸ˜ She will fill your life with love and laughter!

Piper is a sweet girl who like to explore. She is friendly and playful and always finds a way to be in on the action but still has time for snuggles. She is tall and going to be a good sized lab.

Copper is our last available male. He is a super sweet boy. Fun and playful but a little more reserved. He begs to be snuggled and will be an ever present friend to his person.
