***Notice to all clients of Heritage Forge***

As of 6/1/25 we will be making changes to our business structure to be able to continue and better provide our services to the best of our abilities.

1. There will be a long overdue price increase for all customers. Materials and the cost of doing business simply keeps rising what seems like daily, we have not had a proper price increase in a long time. If you would like your updated pricing before your next appointment feel free to text or message me!

2. Our business phone hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday! (Unless it is a major holiday) this is a business just like any other and we try to keep regular hours as we do have a life and a family outside of work! Your text or phone call will NOT be responded to at 11pm on a Saturday night or at 4am on Sunday morning. If you have a true emergency contact your closest emergency vet.

3. This is for the most part and at the time being a one man operation, that means I have to juggle everyone’s changing schedule, actually getting your horses trimmed and shod, checking and ordering inventory, invoicing, banking, truck maintenance, returning calls and texts amongst 100 other things. With that being said, please be patient in getting a response to your call or text, and if you are not responded to within 24 hours feel free to kindly reach out again because your notification has obliviously gotten lost in the great abyss!

4. We are NOT your bank or financial institution. Payment will be due as soon as the last foot touches the ground before I leave the driveway. We currently take cash, check (only for established customers), or Venmo! If payment is not made at time of service there will be a daily late fee applied to your bill.

5. Lastly, we are NOT trainers. We will be as patient, calm, and caring of your horse as possible. But these animals are not lap dogs and can and will majority hurt or kill you! There are plenty of good well mannered horses to work on. With that being said, if your horse cannot calmly and safely stand to have its feet done, I will not risk injury or death to get them done, I have a family I like to go home to in one piece at the end of everyday and would like to see my kids grow up. Your unruly horse will not come before that, we will deny service, and you will be charged accordingly for our time. If you would like names and numbers of trainers just ask.

I am truly grateful for all of my amazing clients! These are just adjustments we have to make to continue to do business with the ever changing, expensive, demanding times that we all live in every day. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and I would be glad to talk them over with you in the best interest of your horse!

Thank you all and God bless!

Inherited issues from years of neglect are not healed overnight. On average it takes roughly a year to grow a new hoof capsule, with enough damage and trauma, it can take even longer. When dealing with lameness issues in your horse, be patient and trust the process.
