Adoption pending
Dallas, a 9 month old bi-eyed male with a piebald coat.
Dallas is a spunky, young Husky. He was surrendered to the shelter because the owners could not handle him. It is evident from his behavior that he did not receive the proper training as a puppy. He was also adopted from the shelter and then returned before coming to SHRF, although the return was due to him not being cat friendly which is very common for the Husky breed due to their prey drive.
As cute and handsome as Dallas is, he is a handful and will require a lot of work where his humans have experience and patience to work with him. Dallas is very mouthy and jumps in excitement. He is also very affectionate and seeks attention. He will nibble at you to get your attention, wherever he can easily get to. Dallas is also food motivated which will help in his training.
Dallas does ok in the car but can get restless in the journey. It would not hurt to have a toy handy to keep him occupied. He loves to play with toys. Dallas gets along with other dogs but will expect them to be ready for some rough house play. He needs to learn some socialization manners which will come in time with the appropriate guidance and interaction with other dogs.
Dallas is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
