Greetings, volunteers and friends!
We are originally planned to ride horses tomorrow, Saturday, November 22 however we need to cancel this riding session. We will resume after the Thanksgiving holiday on the first Saturday of December. Volunteers are still welcome to assist with barn chores and horse care. During the holiday break if the gate is open, please come on in and help out. Typically, we are taking care of the horses daily from 9 am to 12 pm and 4 to 6 PM.

🌟 Today Leah was the Guest Speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Seminole Seminole Breakfast Club’s meeting.

On their page this morning they remarked-
“Leah shared about the wonderful work they do, using horses to bring joy, therapy, and healing to people with special needs. 🐴💙”

They also presented H4H with a $1,000 check to help support our amazing program!

We are so glad to share the stories of growth and joy our program brings to our community. Thank you for having us and for the generous gift.

I saw a child who couldn't walk
Sit on a horse, laugh and talk.
Then ride it through a field of daisies
And yet he could not walk unaided.
I saw a child no legs below
Sit on a horse and make it go
Through wood of green and places he had never been
to sit and stare, except from a chair.
I saw a child who could only crawl
Mount a horse and sit up tall;
Then put it through degrees of paces
And laugh at the wonder on our faces.
I saw a child born into strife,
Take up and hold the reins of life
And that same child was heard to say,
'Thank God for showing me the way'.

We cannot say it enough that we need volunteers! Your community needs you. YOU can make the difference for so many people. Please consider giving of your time to our mission and to the children and adults that live every week to "hold the reins of life".
