Excited to share Finn's journey! (so far) 🐶 This quirky little bernadoodle has been a joy to train. In our in-home private classes, we've focused on loose leash walking, potty training, husbandry, puppy biting, staying off furniture, the 'drop it' command, and curbing jumping. Finn's playful spirit and eagerness to learn make him a delight to work with. Way to go, Finn!

Thrilled to share the progress of Baxter and Bentley! 🐾 Baxter, the doodle I trained as a puppy in 2018, needed a refresh after picking up some bad habits. He and his newest housemate, Bentley the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, completed private classes together. Baxter excelled in his crash course, and Bentley, eager for treats, was a fantastic student. Proud of their hard work and dedication!

Top Dog is thrilled to celebrate Charlie's achievement! 🐶🎉 Charlie has successfully completed three weeks of private classes, and he's made incredible progress. We've worked on walking nicely on leash, mastering the "leave it" command, and improving house manners. Additionally, we've focused on understanding Charlie's body language, helping both his family and Charlie learn to communicate better. We're so proud of Charlie and his amazing dedication. Way to go, Charlie! Keep up the great work

Meet these adorable Rottweiler puppies; sisters Greta & Heidi, who recently completed three weeks of training at just 13 weeks old! 🐾 These little champions worked hard in their private classes, focusing on essential skills like potty training, loose leash walking, coming when called, and embracing positive puppy behavior. We're proud of their progress and excited to see how they continue to grow into well-mannered and happy dogs.

Congratulations to Oakley & Watson for completing the Level 1 Basics Course! 🎉 In our group classes, we work together on the curriculum while also focusing on our unique goals for each dog. Watson, a mature dog, is fine-tuning and adjusting some habits, while Oakley, an energetic puppy, is navigating typical puppy behaviors. Great job to both pups and their owners for their hard work!!

😍🤓Have you met Quinn yet? She's one of the Top Dog ambassadors! She has been training on and off since she was 9 weeks old! She can do so much, and is super smart! Her people have worked so hard with her. Whether we are reviewing older trainings, doing new tricks, or agility just for fun.. we all leave exhausted! lol ;-)

Check out these two!! Henry & Leo
We worked on building a stronger relationship along with loose leash walking and listening in general.
Phineas!
I absolutely love a challenge. Our favorite thing we did was to teach calmness. Teaching Phineas how to calm himself when they have someone come over was beautiful!

Three dogs, each at different stages of training, made significant progress toward their individual goals during the group class while adhering to our set curriculum. What they worked on:
Maggie: pure puppy learning how to iron out those manners
Sage: continuing her training, while adding distractions and refining her commands.
Eddie: working on (from a distance) socializing and desensitizing to community and dog behavior

Yes, it’s true. I’m from New York! Pleasantville, a small suburban town in Westchester County to be exact. I went to college in Pennsylvania to pursue my passion of Art and Design concentrating in Graphic Design in which I currently hold two degrees. My husband's job then relocated us further into the state and we absolutely love it here.
I have always been an animal lover; my only regret is not pursuing dog training earlier. I should have known pet training was my calling– [While walking home from grade school, a little Bichon Frise followed me home, every kids dream... and of course, we couldn’t keep it, we found its owner.] Truly, my favorite breed is ‘Dog’ but bunnies are a close second!
I have worked for a pet store company for the past eight years. I started my journey to be a Pet Trainer in 2014. I learned most of my knowledge through my mentor, Scott. I have learned a lot through my education along with the knowledge of my fellow trainers along the way.
While learning a lot over those years and with the knowledge that I have, my favorite piece of advice to clients and customers are to ‘get creative’ to solve the problem. Sometimes the answer lies with creativity. In other words, the definition of insanity; doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I honestly love helping clients through problem solving. I have met some amazing people through pet training and I love catching up with old clients.
I have had such wonderful and supportive friends and family through this journey. I am excited to venture out on my own and officially continue what I absolutely love doing.
Through positive reinforcement, I can help you with your dog.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I look forward to speaking with you.
