We are seeking a friendly Dog Bather to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a background in dog grooming, animal care, or other animal-related fields.

Hours:
📅 Tuesday through Saturday
⏰ 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Potential for more hours on busier days.

💲 Pay: $15–$16 per hour, plus tips!

Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls
• Booking appointments
• Checking dogs in and out, including placing dogs in kennels and retrieving them when their owners arrive for pickup
• Sweeping the front retail area and vacuuming the grooming area as needed
• Checking on dogs in the kennel room on an hourly basis
• Assisting groomers when needed
• Switching towels from the washer to the dryer and folding them when needed
• Bathing dogs using the appropriate shampoo and conditioner
• Blow drying and brushing coats
• Nail trimming and filing
• Teeth brushing
• Ear cleaning and plucking
• Keeping the back room clean and sanitized

Skills:

• Knowledge or background in canine care or related fields is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience in animal care, dog training, or dog handling is a plus
• Knowledge of pet grooming practices is beneficial

Happy Monday ! We have groomers Lisa and Katie in the shop today starting the week off for us! Mondays are usually a closed day for the shop, but we do have Lisa and Katie available most Mondays for appointments only. If Mondays are your jam we have appointments available .
