Our mission is to rescue abandoned, abused and injured animals; rehabilitate them, have them vaccinated, spayed or neutered; and find them loving adoptive homes. Most of these animals are here through no fault of their own, Many are wonderful healthy and well behaved family pets that have been abandoned due to unfortunate circumstances such as death of an owner or financial crisis or have simply gotten lost. As part of the adoption process, we evaluate all of our rescues for behavior and physical problems prior to clearing them for adoption. All donations to the non-profit, no-kill Secaucus Animal Shelter are tax deductible

The shelter is open every day, please view our hours listed on the right. We will make an appointment if you wish to come at other times. We are just off N.J. Route 3, Meadowlands Parkway exit (just east of Giants Stadium and Izod Center), south approx. 2 miles to end of Meadowlands Parkway. This is only 5.3 miles from Times Square and accessible in twenty minutes by NJ Transit bus route 129 or NJ Transit or Amtrak train to Secaucus station, then courtesy shuttle to Meadowlands Parkway.
