Cryotherapy and Thermotherapy (Cold and Heat) to treat tissue swelling, reduce pain, provide comfort. Geriatric Care – mobility assistance through strengthening and comfort care through massage and other techniques. Therapeutic Ultrasound for tissue stretching assistance, pain reduction and healing. Exercise Therapy utilizing a variety of methods: customized exercise plan, Cavaletti rails & pole weaving, physioball, Balance board for proprioception, Theraband, assisted movement. PEMF Bed – Pulsed Electromagnetic Field - An additional option for pain relief and relaxation. Acupressure – A non-invasive technique in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that can promote physical and emotional health through targeted placement of light pressure specific points or channels along the animals’ body to open and support the energy pathways and specific organs to improve health.

Animal specific studies regarding the benefits of massage are slowly beginning to document what many of you already know and have seen with your own animal family members, and perhaps even in your own body

The science seems to align with the significant body of research on how human bodies work and react to massage

Acupuncture and acupressure have a long history and list of conditions that they have been proven to treat.

The study concluded that “acupuncture and related techniques reduced pain and improved quality of life in dogs with neurological and musculoskeletal diseases.” This is good news and another tool we can use to improve and maintain the health of our animal companions.
