First some playtime outside this morning, then JP got to watch his neighbor get her teeth floated this afternoon. He never misses a thing!

When your vet shows up and has an extra minute, and you grab another horse, this is what you find! Sonny deep in enjoying his mash soup! Dr. Tooman checked Sonny's enlarged thyroid and said not to worry about it. Not unusual in older horses. Our resident senior, at some point suffered an injury to his esophogus and developed a stricture. He can't have hay or long grass. He is loving the short spring grass when we let him mow the lawn. Thunder Mountain Farms Equine Rescue loves the Tooman!

Thank you Dr. Tooman, for all you have done to care for Bird. It has been a long journey!!... Everything has been greatly appreciated. Sadly, there is no cure for his cancer. Thank you for suggesting Mt. Pilchuck to us for surgery, it gave us a few more precious months.

Tammy is a 7 year old Molly Mule who is ready for a new home. She packs, has now been started under saddle, and is very sweet. She is priced at $750 but will continue to go up while she is in training.
