Now I have arrived at your home,
everything is strange, and I don't feel good.
Do not feel impatient
If i don't sleep in my newbasket.
Yesterday, I slept on a stone floor.
Do not be terrified if i gobble up my food.
Yesterday. I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I p*e on your floor.
Yesterday, it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday, I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it's your world
but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest
Gift Ihave to give..
My Heart ❤️
Please never forget, I was a pound dog
All I need, is a bit of time to adjust.

This lady visited a shelter to adopt a puppy, then she saw this old abandoned blind dog who had spend already many years in his box without the love of a family. She went home with this beautiful dog🐾🐾♥️

Dogs are so incredibly wonderful.
This is Hachikō. He was an Akita born on Nov. 10, 1923 in Japan. He was sold to Hidesaburo Ueno, a scientist at the University of Tokyo. Ueno named him Hachi after the number 8, which is considered lucky in Japan, and the two became inseparable. Every day, Hachi walked to Shibuya Station with Ueno for his commute, and he returned each evening to pick him up. This routine continued daily until May 21, 1925. On that sad day, Ueno left for work and never returned, after suffering a fatal cerebral hemorrhage while lecturing.
Despite Ueno's absence, Hachi continued to wait for him at the station daily. Hachi bounced between several homes, including some miles from Shibuya, before settling with Ueno’s former gardener. No matter the distance, Hachi returned to the station daily to wait patiently for his owner. In 1932, a former student of Ueno’s published an article about the dog's vigil, and Hachi's story blew up. Hachi became a symbol of loyalty, and “-ko,” a suffix used as a sign of respect, was added to his name. Now called Hachikō, he started receiving pets and treats from people at the station while he awaited his owner.
In 1934, a life-sized statue of the loyal dog was erected at Shibuya Station, and Hachikō himself attended the unveiling ceremony. Hachikō died the next year at the age of 11. Each year since 1936, a solemn ceremony at Shibuya station has been held to honor his devotion. Hachikō's ashes were buried beside Ueno’s in Tokyo. After nine years, nine months and fifteen days, Hachikō was finally reunited with his beloved owner he missed so much. For his perseverance and loyalty, we bestow upon Hachikō the extremely rare (and long overdue) 15/10

Friends.. This information is very important to know.!!! When you see a dirty cat.. This is important information to know, why cats look dirty.
🔺 Cats can resist hunger for up to a week on average, but no more than 2-3 days in case of thirst.
🔺 Cats are usually very clean, they are groomed several times a day, if you see a cat that is not clean, it is DEHYDRATED and has been so for many days.
Their saliva glands are not functioning properly, because they require moisture.!!!.
🔺 Please, if you see a stray kitten, apparently dirty, do not run, or look at it with disgust, it has already had difficult days.. In which I probably haven't eaten or drank any water for a long time!!!. If you don't like cats, express kindness out of compassion.!!
🔺 For humanity, empathy, and love for your neighbor, bring food and above all a container with WATER. It's not easy being thirsty and hungry and not being able to say a word! 💔🥺
“Helping a disadvantaged being, is the opportunity that life gives you to be a better person.”.

Me in the future:

It's been a busier than usual couple of weeks at EAS, and like most shelters, we are busting at the seams with animals that need help.
In the last 2 weeks we have:
💜 Accepted 28 owner surrender pets
🐾 Taken in 119 stray pets and animals brought in by our animal control partners
🫶 Helped 101 community pets with spay/neuter or other medical care
😷 Had a case of Parvovirus, which is often deadly and spreads quickly
🦆 Been caring for a duck named Donald with a crooked tail that is looking for a new home
We have very few, if any, empty kennels. If you're looking for a way to help, you can:
- Donate: everettwa.gov/shelterdonations
- Adopt: everettwa.gov/adopt
- Learn about volunteering or fostering: https://www.everettwa.gov/178/Volunteering-Fostering
- Spread the word by sharing our posts
- Try and help reunite lost pets before bringing them to the shelter, a win-win for everyone
We can't do this without our community and we are so thankful! Pictured here is Ling Ling the dog and Spring the cat, both waiting for new homes.

Did You Know? ...
Kittens as young as 4 months of age can get pregnant, have kittens at 6 months of age (when they're still a kitten themselves), and then have kittens every 9 weeks after that. 😳
This is why it's so important to spay/neuter ANY cat by 5 months because the number of cats can get out of control very quickly!!!
Spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and ear tipping community cats helps stabilize the colony, ends suffering, and prevents the births of more community cats.

We're feeling absolutely shattered after a long weekend competing at the National Scout Rifle Championships. I am very proud of Rowley for working so hard this weekend, keeping me safe and enabling me to take part. I am delighted to have come home with a gold medal in the 6 Yard Rifle (Senior Class). 🥇
