We keep trying to warn people yet this company still gets away with constantly scamming their customers

More people from the community are coming forward with concerns after Q13 News ran a story about Puppyland in Renton back in 2019, where a couple accused the company of an expensive and confusing puppy leasing agreement.

The safest thing you can do is adopt your next best friend or look for a reputable breeder and ALWAYS meet the parent dogs to see how they are living.

This video is from an investigation on Prairie Lane Kennel, who supply J.A.K.S Puppies (the puppy broker that Puppyland buys from). J.A.K.S. has buys puppies from two very well known puppy mills, this one and Purple Heart Kennels.

Interestingly, both of these known puppy mills having also sold puppies to Broadway Puppies, which is where Kayla Kerr, the owner of Puppyland used to work, before moving to Washington after bills preventing the sale of dogs in her state went into place.

Here is an interesting quote given by Kayla Kerr, one of the owners of Puppyland. When inquiring about a puppy however, she will not actually give you any details such as where they are from, who the parents are, or vaccine records.

Additionally, we find it interesting that you can not hold a puppy and play with it prior to being absolutely sure you are going to purchase it. They will happily lease a puppy to you, even if it will not be a good fit in your home and will just get re-homed in a matter of weeks.

Here is an article just for reference, showing a time they did just that, and the puppy had to find a new home, while the buyers were left paying off the $7,200 bill... (yes that is really how much they charged for the puppy)
