Meet Bandit! He was the inspiration behind Seaside Pups, he unfortunately wasn’t a good fit for daycare due to how hectic it was but he still enjoyed the company of other dogs while he did his own thing! As a high energy breed a 30 minute neighborhood walk wasn’t going to cut it while I was at work so I started the process of setting up our group adventures! Bandit now spends his days introducing other pups to the trails and exploring!

Our pups have been busy exploring the trails this week! Here’s some of our highlights

Olly is a super smart boy who always makes sure we’re staying on route, he comes with us twice a week so he’s gotten pretty confident on trails!

Calico keys an eye on the trees watching for squirrels overhead but she always makes sure to come back when called!

These three are the best of buddies and always ready to pose for a group photo!

Meet Korra! Every pup is different and not every pup is ready for the full group when we meet them! Korra was a shy rescue recently adopted from the Monterey SPCA and needed to build confidence with the outside world and other dogs. We introduced her to one of our companion dogs Scout and he showed her that the trails were a fun place and helped her become friends with more pups! Now Korra is a fully fledged adventure pup who has even learned to go off leash and enjoys meeting up with her friends every Wednesday!

Group Field Trips are small, social adventure walks in real nature. A carefully matched group, led by an educated team, with individual ruffland kennel transport to and from the trail.

At Seaside Pups, we keep groups small by design.
Every dog is assessed before they join.
Every group is carefully put together.

I started this service because I noticed the gap between what most dog care service providers offer and what dogs actually need.

Not every dog does well in a big group.
Not every dogs enjoys the chaotic daycare environment.
And not every owner should have to hope for the best
when they hand over the lead.
