Humane Society of Searcy Our shelter is located at 112 Johnston Rd. in Searcy, AR. We are open 7 days a week from 1 to 5 PM.

What The Humane Society & Animal Shelter Does

• Provides a temporary home for lost, abandoned and owner turn in dogs and cats.
• Provides food, shelter and medical care for our animals.
• Cleans and maintains the Searcy Animal Shelter.
• Adopts out animals as per board policy.
• Staffs the Searcy Animal Shelter on a paid and volunteer basis.
• Works in conjunction with the Searcy Animal Control

• Promotes spay and neuter programs.
• Holds fundraising events to earn operating revenues.
• Offers private and corporate memberships to the public at a modest cost.
• Makes educational material available to schools, organizations and the general public.

Come adopt Felix today so the staff and volunteers don't have to keep chasing him around the lobby 😅 Felix is a fun little guy with too much personality to be contained by a cage. He loves to play and explore and does his best to slip out when his kennel is open. Felix is friendly and likes to be held. He is 10 weeks old and has tested FeLV/FIV-negative.

This post has all of our dogs currently available for adoption. Under each picture is name, gender, age, and weight.

The adoption fee for all dogs is $100, which includes age appropriate vaccinations, monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventatives, intestinal dewormer, age appropriate spay/neuter, and microchip at the time of adoption!

We are obsessed with Rolo, and you should be too! He's an adorable lowrider with great ears and a wonderful personality. He is good with other dogs (can be dominant). He is a medium energy dog and is happy to play outside and then come in and chill. Rolo is 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds. He is heartworm negative, neutered, and will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
