-reliable and on time.
-able to check dogs in and out.
-someone willing to get dirty and work hard.

Duties include:

-walking dogs
-cleaning kennels
-feeding and watering
-playing with dogs
-general clean up washing bowls, emptying trash, picking up p**p in the dog yards.

This can be a fun job but is also a lot of work. Must be 18. Please contact me for more info. Pay is above minimum wage. Would be great if person was also able to stay on the farm some weekends to house sit and run kennels while we are away at dog shows g

Ok clients for my sanity I do need to tighten up on some rules that I have been slack on lately and so I want to remind people. I again have gone through another stretch of no days off and for my sanity these guidelines need to be followed. “By me” I am the one who lets people work outside the hours I set.
So pick up and drop off hours are between 8-1 and 4-6 Monday to Saturday by appt. This means I need to know when you are coming because if I don’t have appt I may make my own appts or do errands.
Second is if your dog requires individual play times I need to charge the extra $10 it adds 45 minutes twice a day to either my day or my kennel attendants day. I will be starting to re follow these rules October 15th and for my sanity I really need to keep these rules. I love my job and my clients but burnout is real when you work 7 days a week. Thank you for your understanding.

It’s time to head back to school for kids and the dogs!
First round of fall classes starts Sept 30th!

Back to Basics class: this class is geared towards dogs who just need basic manners. Sit, down, come, loose leash walking and a lot more. This class is for dogs 14 weeks and up. We do not take dogs with behavioral issues in this class. It will be a 6 week course for $150. Limit class size to 10. This class will be at 6pm.

Reactive Rover class: this class is for dogs with reactivity and anxiety around other dogs and people. We teach coping skills for you and your dog. This class is 4 weeks for $150 limit to 5 in the class. This class will be at 7:15pm.

I have over 30 years experience in training dogs both personally and professionally. Also offer private lessons and board and train. Contact me through Facebook or text me at (360) 731-3914 to sign up or inquire about other services.

Langley is the dog of the day. She is a fun loving, water loving Malamute x Labrador mix. She has been staying with us most of her life when her parents are away. Her nickname is Monkey arms because she can reach threw the kennels and grab anything threw.

Today’s dog of the Day

Meet Smokey a corgis cross that has been visiting the farm for the last six months or so. When Smokey first visited he wouldn’t eat and he would sit in the corner during playtime. He now pulls in the driveway leaping to get out super excited. He sees us and runs to go in and never looks back, he is a fun excited boy and it has been great to watch him become confident and enjoy his time on the farm!!!
