I had my first job shadow this week at the shop. I was blessed to have Colby come to spend the day learning the art of taxidermy. He was so interested in every step, eager to learn and a very respectful young man. What made it even more special was he got to help mount his sister’s buck, which only adds to the story and memories of this deer for the family. Taxidermy is more than just mounting deer to me, it is being part of these moments and the priceless memories made in the field. I strive to not only preserve them and make them as lifelike as I possibly can, but I also strive to add to the memories of each individual deer and journey from harvest to home. I love bringing these beautiful animals back to life for all of you and as always I thank you for trusting me with your trophies!
