Rabies positive case in Charlottesville! This poor kitty IN CHARLOTTESVILLE tested positive for Rabies. If you’re local and you think Rabies isn’t around you YOU’RE WRONG. Vaccinate your pets for Rabies! Virginia has the second highest rate of Rabies in the entire US according to a 2021 study by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Blue Ridge Health District (BRHD), in coordination with the Charlottesville Police Department, is alerting the public about a confirmed case of rabies in a black cat found in the Charlottesville area.

Consider storing the food in the original bag inside your containers
