Dog Training, dog boarding and behavioral rehabilitation for all dog breeds in Phoenix, Scottsdale,

Dog training, dog boarding and rehabilitation in Scottsdale, AZ for all breeds of dogs in obedience as well as dogs with more serious issues. I train dogs and owners of recently rescued/adopted dogs who need help settling in and learning what is expected of them. I bring my dog training knowledge to all areas of Arizona and also provide dog boarding in my home. Due to my own personal dog aggression experience with my dog, Petunia, I have valuable dog training insights as an owner, as well. Because my dog training business is centrally located, I train dogs in Phoenix, AZ and all through the valley. With such a beautiful rainy day, we’re home meal prepping together. It’s so much easier when it’s two of us.

Rob has shredded a few pounds of cheese 🧀 to freeze

he made 2 pounds of bacon 🥓 in the oven for freezing

together we made a dozen egg cups for a grab and go breakfast

Next up is a pot of my homemade beef 🥩 stew just as soon as my potatoes and carrots are delivered

What are you up to on this beautiful rainy day in Arizona? And if you’re not here, where are you and what’s the weather doing?

On October 28, 2026, the Arizona Department of Agriculture (AZDA) in cooperation with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced Arizona's index (first) case of New World screwworm (NWS). The confirmed case was found in a canine in Cochise County when a local veterinarian examined the animal on the evening of October 26 and identified a wound on the canine's back heavily infested with maggots consistent with NWS characteristics. Scientific testing, in coordination with federal partners, verified the species.

"We have been preparing for this possibility for a long while and are acting swiftly," said State Veterinarian Dr. Ryan Wolker. "Because of the extensive outreach, coordination, and surveillance already in place, Arizona producers, veterinarians, and pet owners know what to look for and how to report suspected cases. That preparation is allowing us to move quickly to protect animal health in the state."
