At FHR, You can now adopt a professionally trained bully breed/pit bull type dog! Our Training Foster Homes will work each dog through a minimum 4 week program for obedience skills, socialization, house/crate training, and behavior correction. The Benefits of Adopting a Trained Rescue Dog:

All adopters receive training with their dog on all behaviors, commands, and tools! You learn everything the dog has learned and how to maintain it. Fat Heads Rescue was formed in March of 2014. Our Mission is to protect and advocate for bully breeds in need while building a community of responsible owners that continue to strengthen the positive image of these dogs in loving homes. Fat Heads Rescue is a purely Volunteer based non-profit organization of dedicated bully breed lovers that have saved well over 1000 dogs since our start in 2014. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

✨🎄➡️🥂 That magical week between Christmas and New Year’s… 🥂⬅️🎄✨
Where time is fake, days are optional, and every clock is lying 😂

Nugget has officially entered “Is it Monday? Or Thursday? Or Snack O’Clock?” mode 🐶💭
She’s been asking important questions like:
• “Are we still saying Merry Christmas?”
• “Is this breakfast… or lunch?”
• “Why is everyone home?”

Meanwhile, it’s unreasonably warm and Nugget is absolutely thriving ☀️🐾
Patio naps, sun-soaked stretches, and pretending she doesn’t need another treat (she does).

She hopes you’re out enjoying this gorgeous day—feet up on a patio, face to the sun, drink in hand, worries nowhere to be found 🌞✨

Because if Nugget knows one thing for sure…
✨ it’s definitely a good day for sunshine ✨

🎄🐾 Merry Christmas hoomans! 🐾🎄

Hi. It’s me. Nugget.
Professional treat tester. Couch protector. Full-time good dog. 💛

I just wanted to wiggle by and say Merry Christmas to all my favorite people. This year has been full of walks, naps, belly rubs, and me pretending I didn’t hear you open the treat cupboard (I heard it).

As we celebrate with lights and laughter, I have one tiny, very important request from the dog delegation 🐶👇
Please remember to give the dogs extra treats this Christmas. We’ve been very brave during baths, very patient during long human meals, and extremely supportive while you wrapped presents (even when you used our favorite nap paper).

A little extra snack, a longer cuddle, or one more “who’s a good dog?” would mean the world to us.
(Okay, mostly the treats. But the cuddles too.)

With a full heart and hopeful eyes,
