Hardscape on the 240 gallon tank is done, stay tuned for plants!

There's no right way to do a hardscape, but there are a couple of wrong ways. There should always be a focal point and some aspect of layering. It's best to do the hardscape before adding water or any livestock.

Here's Hudson's fish pick of the week! He picked a good one this time, dwarf chain loaches!

These little guys are the perfect solution for a snail infestation in a nano tank because they love to munch on small invertebrates. Being a loach, they do best in a group and will spend most of their time near the bottom of the tank.

Dwarf chain loaches are endangered in the wild and bred in captivity. Breeding them requires the use of hormones to induce spawning, which makes them more expensive.

They are cute, useful and quirky; what more could you want in a fish?
