I had the opportunity to attend the first Myopain Seminars Equine Dry Needling certification course held in the US, this weekend in Florida. These techniques vary from those I was previous taught in humans, but the objective remains the same-pain reduction resulting in functional improvement!

So thankful to have a business partner that I can have complete trust is going to put in the work and has the skills to allow me to devote more time to my job as a Dad. Even amidst all this craziness we will just keep on keeping on. I think this batch of blueberry muffins was an A+! This whole work from home dad thing is pretty sweet!!!

We just got the call Brextons appointments are at 9 am tomorrow so we are fixing to put all our work on hold until we figure out when Brexton’s open heart surgery is going to be scheduled (likely very soon). Please feel free to message us about anything via email or messenger, but understand we may take longer than the usual to respond.

Our family Moto is and will always be, set goals, say prayers, work hard. Brexton, all the medical professionals involved in his care, and our family could definitely use your prayers at this time. We look forward to sharing more news about how these ventures are progressing and about Brextons expected recovery time line till he is back riding Dad like a bucking bull with a heart that will soon be able to get all that blood it needs to his legs. I can’t imagine how long it will take me to throw him if he’s been able to squeeze as hard as he can as long as he can with a heart defect like he has. Big things in the future for my little guy and this family!

In 2021, we were given the opportunity to purchase our dream horse property right outside of our small hometown. We decided to continue the horse boarding facility that was already in place, but we always knew we had bigger dreams for C & E Stables.

It didn't take long before we realized all that we could bring to our property. That's where Equine & Rider Rehabilitation came into place. We are serving the equine industry in a unique and innovative package that aims to serve both the horse and rider by evaluating and treating them both at our training facility or on the road in our mobile clinic.

The horse and rider are a team that demands collaborative and an all inclusive team of professionals in order to be at their best! We look forward to treating both the rider and horse as the athletes they are.

Hey everyone!

My past few days have consisted of an absolute onslaught of information and hands on learning experiences I have been so excited for! I only have 7 days with the pony cadavers the CERP class of 2022 has been blessed with the opportunity to learn from. Turns out the opportunity to learn advanced equine anatomy with a bio mechanical emphasis from a cadaver specimen like this is not something typically taught in veterinarian school! I am loving getting to learn from and with my new professional colleagues. The inter professional collaboration between experienced physical therapist and equine veterinarians is amazing. Some vets with years of orthopedic surgical experience can help make this lab a once in a life time learning opportunity! I plan to soak up as much as I can and will absolutely share it all as soon as I get back!

I would have loved to watch Emily & Pepper run in the county fair barrel race tonight. Instead, due to Pepper showing some mobility issues and positive signs/symptoms for sacroiliac disease we let Jet get his first outing as a therapy horse in training. Stay tuned for more updates about peppers case study and her progress!
