Last weekend Va Summer Showdown, Clifford was the perfect baby and Jackie rocked her canter, pulling a win in the nonstock WTC Dressage Suitability. Trail obstacle was sizzling but all did well in hand and undersaddle (not pictured). Gemma was so well-behaved and took all the new experiences in like a lady and also not pictured is Gabby and Nova who despite challenges were a solid team! I’m proud of all the horses and their people! 🥰 Thank you for the images! Thank you J and S Equestrian Events for putting on the show!

Trying to help keep these pretty necks balanced with pigtail braids- I’m a fan and I believe the horses are too! Have you ever noticed a heavy mane causing your horse to feel off-balance?

This show has Gypsy, non-stock (sporthorses, Arabians, etc..) and stock-type classes as well as the honorable Lauren Maddox judging from NC and another great judge- it’s going to be a good time! ☀️ 🐴

What is the number one way that horses communicate? Body language!

Learning liberty largely involves learning to speak to horses with your body language. Even if you don’t plan on actually doing full-blown liberty- what you can learn in a liberty foundation can help you in areas such as- catching a hard to catch horse, teaching in hand skills for classes like showmanship or trail, trailer loading, the list goes on!

My upcoming liberty clinic is the perfect opportunity to brush up on your horsemanship skills or take them to a different level.

Cost is $100 if you’d like to bring your horse (haul ins) onsite clients do get a different rate. Audit for $25!

Chapel Acres Beauregard Bodine AKA “Bo”’s bow 💁🏼‍♀️ Owned and loved by Gracelyn Yasser

I have some new faces (horse faces that is) and lots of fun from our Obstacle Clinic and Good Friday Camp to share. I have been very preoccupied taking care of my dog, Stubby, who had an accident 03/28. It’s almost been a month and he’s come so far! Sometimes when things get busy/hard, I tend to freeze up when it comes to social media, as I like to put a lot of thought and creativity into what I post. (Like I have so much more I want to share than Bo’s bow). But it can wait, and for now enjoy his adorable adorned apple bottom!
