A little narrative about our movie

Movie Night at the Museum!

Next Monday, August 29th at 6 p.m. the Museum will be showing "If I Could Ride," a movie of courage, strength, and spirit.

A story of two teenage girls with totally different backgrounds. Jodie Brown was born with a physical disability. She and her mother, along with her grandfather, live on a dilapidated old farm. With the recent passing of her dad, Jodie’s mom, Sandy, works two jobs to make ends meet. Jodie’s first love is horses, and her dream is to someday ride horses and eventually compete in horse shows. However, physical disabilities and financial problems make this vision seem quite impossible.

Bridgett Van Heusen lives a complete opposite life, residing on a beautiful farm and having a championship horse as well as a talented horse trainer. Both of her parents are involved in everything but their daughter’s love. Bridgett is an extremely talented rider, competing in local and national horse shows, having continued success.

Witness how fate brings together these two distinctly different young girls. See the magnificence of unconditional love that transcends physical and emotional trials throughout the film. This family film has many of life’s lessons and can be enjoyed by the entire family.

Do to the Covid-19 virus’s the governor has made orders to stop all riding lessons and boarders from visiting the farm. Unfortunately we must do what needs to be done to stop this virus. We’ve had a fun filled and exciting winter camp with many surprises. Today’s horseback riding lesson was about learning to balance and reprogramming the brain. Today’s surprise was the hay tent collapsed on our new tractor and plow truck. Ouch! Snow load can be heavy, especially with all that rain we had.

Winter Break Camp. The kids learn so much, team work, building friendships, caring for others, animal care teaches self care, horse safety and riding protocols, Equine Chiropractics, played games, had fun and so much more, building confidence and empowerment. We love our campers and what we do! Ride on gang!

Spa Cathlic nativity play, at the Victorian Street Walk. Every one did a great job especially our little horse Ruby. She’s a star you know!
