Straw Pockets Farm We provide basic horse riding lessons for kids who want to experience the true meaning of what its like to own a horse, care for a horse, and ride a horse!

Located in Schriever, LA We have a small farm that specializes in food that is healthier for your family than most of what you find in a typical grocery store. Our chickens freely range the pasture every day having access to a more natural diet thereby producing eggs which are better for you. We raise grass-finished beef and pastured poultry each year according to pre-orders. We also breed registered Barbados Blackbelly sheep for breeding stock and for butchering.

I will now have availability starting in June for horse riding lessons!
I offer 30 minute lessons for kids between 5-7
And 1 hour lessons OR 30 minutes for 8 and up!

LESSONS INCLUDE
•grooming
•bathing
•riding
•groundwork
•horse-and-rider team building exercises!

AVAILABILITY 👇
Mondays -
Between 4pm-7pm

Wednesdays -
4pm-7pm

Fridays -
4pm-7pm

Saturdays
Between 8am-9am
