What a summer! 🐴✨ We’re so proud of everything we’ve accomplished this show summer and incredibly grateful for all of our clients, horses, supporters, and the opportunities along the way.

As we wrap up a great summer, we’re excited to look ahead to new opportunities and the next chapter! If you’ve been thinking about making a change, looking for a new program, or simply like what we’re doing, we currently have availability in our training program!

Couldn’t be more proud of the entire Captivate team and all of our amazing horses after an incredible two weeks in Traverse City! 🐴✨
The hard work, dedication, and teamwork from everyone truly showed. Our horses gave us their all, and our entire team worked so hard behind the scenes to make these two weeks so special.

So grateful for this incredible group of people and horses and so proud of everything we accomplished together! ❤️

Captivate Farms and Trainer Devon Hodgins have had a fantastic first week at Traverse City Horse shows. Today Lachlan and Chancellor De La Marchette Z were 2nd in the .95 Junior/Amateur Classic! A big placing for young Lachlan considering she hasn’t been even slightly focused on jumping except for the last 2 months! She’s a dressage queen!

Another new rider for Captivate Farms and Devon Hodgins is Zoe Leinwand. Her beautiful Lovato is starting to come into her own with the big atmosphere. Super proud of them this week and so excited for the future!

RSF For Always has had a quiet first week going clear in the .75’s on Thursday. He will also move forward in the coming week. Caleb was bred in Ireland by our barn manager Terri.

Super proud of everyone this week and looking forward to the second week.

Lachlan Pierson and Chance were again clear today in the 95 Junior/Amateur class. Today was a speed class and they were 4th out of 15. It doesn’t matter if she is competing in Dressage with her own fabulous Emilio or in jumping, what is always the same is her ability to be teachable. To learn from her mistakes and keep moving forward. Captivate is so proud to have her in our barn. And as always, a fabulous teaching job by Devon Hodgins. ❤️

Lachlan Pierson and Chancellor De La Marchette Z made a winning start to their 1st week in Traverse. Worth waiting til the end of the video! She’s so thankful for every opportunity she gets! Fantastic training job Devon Hodgins! Last time Lachlan was in a jumper ring was 2021 and it was 2ft! Well done team!

Even through the smoky days, our horses come first. 🐴🩶 We're keeping them comfortable with plenty of fresh water, reduced exercise, and extra time indoors when air quality isn't safe. A little extra care now goes a long way toward keeping our equine partners healthy and happy.
We hope everyone is staying safe and we are looking forward to better weather 💛
