I’m BUYING deer capes this fall, want easy money for that buck you’re gonna toss in a ditch somewhere after you cut the antlers off? Bring it over. I’ll cape him for free even, if that’s not a option come to time please follow the picture above and remember, you can never leave to much I’ve had several this year caped by customers and not enough there 😬. Will do some European mount work In exchange for you’re cape or cash in hand. Need as many as I can get for the future plans ahead thanks! Please share this around I’d like to land around 15-20 extra capes

After deep thought and consideration I will not be open to the general public this 2022 deer season. I will only be accepting a very small amount of my repeat customers who have stuck it out with me since day one. With the high demand and shortages of products it is nearly impossible for me to break over the hill, I understand some of you are coming up on 2 years or waiting for you’re trophy back and I deeply apologize but promise I am going as fast as I can with what I have to work with I never imagined being in the position I am today and it’s beyond overwhelming more for me than you. I currently have all of my 2020 fall deer mounted up and drying and starting on last fall. I only have a total of 40 from last fall I hope to kick through quickly while producing the best quality possible. Between working 40 hour weeks full time and 40-50 hours after work and weekends doing taxidemry I have no life outside of work and need to take a step back and appreciate the little things more before they are gone. With the overwhelming phone calls and messages my stress load is more than I should ever have to worry about when I have the ability and choice to say no. I have several life activities planned for next year and don’t want to choose between work over family/personal life when the time comes so I must prepare for the year ahead by downsizing. I greatly appreciate everyone’s business and look forward to doing business with you again in the future when I am more stable and starting at a clean slate again thank you all and I wish you the absolute best of luck this season and seasons ahead. Thank you

A post I’ve been waiting to make for awhile now 🙄 but soft tans are finally arriving I got my first box today should be getting 2 more boxes so if I Don’t contact you this weekend don’t worry expect a call within the next week or two. I’ll receive a box next week and then my final box the week after. Also be on the look out for any pelts posted for sale due to not being picked up or customers no longer wanting them! ( I no longer do soft tans) due to inflation and long turn arounds at the tannery I would rather not put my self in this position again and weaning out some things for now to lighten up the stress load thank you

As of last Tuesday 03/15/22 all production has stopped in the shop due to some serious personal health issues going on. I have restrained from making a post hoping a resolution would have been found by now however unfortunately answers take time. I’m physically not able to perform any work at this time and it will remain that way until the issue is resolved. I will not be answering calls or messages unfortunately do to the heavy amount of stress already upon my shoulders I need to keep it cut out. As of right now I have 15 shoulder mounts dried and only needing paint done 98% completed so will hopefully soon have several completed. I have a total of 18 left all ordered and waiting arrival. As of this fall and so on I plan to have a follow up video in the weekend ahead when I am hopefully back to normal living conditions. I apologize to all and appreciate those who understand.

About fed up with it. Although I don’t use McKenzie forms I do order supplies, plaques, needles etc from them since they have a bigger variety. If they Welty already high enough they gotta throw this at us taxidermist. I give it a short amount of time before other companies follow behind them. As of right now matuska is 3 weeks behind before filling a order so I am having some issue getting forms but making it manage for now working with what I have so be aware things can drastically change I’m close to being caught up hoping I don’t get stuck on the tail end. As of right now projections for this fall prices I have no idea, depends on what materials settle at I’m hoping I don’t have to raise but at the end of the day I have to make profit. I’ll be taking less deer this fall than I did last year to maintain what I can do with what I have to work with. Going to really strap down on this showing up with no deposit situation and not picking up stuff within a reasonable amount of time.

Not even half the battle I’ve been fighting. 2021 vs 2022 crazy what a month does…
