Angela Way has been keeping a secret...
I'm trying something new!

Come try out BarnGenie for 15 days!
I've tried quite a number of new programs over the past year. And BarnGenie is NAILING IT!

I've not tried the other program that was just released in the last week or two. It's not Android available yet. And others that are, say that it's not syncing between devices.

BarnGenie is available ACROSS ALL DEVICES! It is SYNCING between devices!

This app is so easy! You can download your pedigrees, no matter the format. And I'm not very electronic savvy. It is so EASY! No spending an hour inputting a pedigree. No trying to remember if you have that rabbit on another pedigree & trying to find it, so then there's duplicates. Dates & reminders link to your calendar if you so choose!
THERE IS A HEALTH CORNER! Medications, vaccines, & vet visits or treatments all listed put so you can go back & see what was done & when!
Weights, there is an easy to see graph to track weight at a glance. But you can also go back & check what your rabbit's weight was on a specific date!

And so many more features & updates coming!
Your rabbitry, your way, at your fingertips!

Took a trip up to NY Grand Finals with a friend this past weekend! Had so much fun with Tammy Steele! I also had a blast meet up with old friends, getting reaquainted with newer ones, meeting others for the first time & finally putting faces to names I only see on Facebook! What a great time!

I didn't get huge placings, but I got great comments on my very small (literally) rabbits! 2.5 lb Sr rabbits, no matter how good or balanced the body & head are, cannot compete with 3 - 4 lb animals!

My main focus of the trip was transporting 2 rabbits to a friend. Mission accomplished! 😁

I also picked up a new doe from Em Meagher, Proud Ears "Brooklyn". Her bone, width & HQ are going to add SO much to what i have! She is one of those rare does who will pair with all my bucks & have a lot to offer! I am SO excited for this girl! Thank you Em for the opportunity! I hope i can do her some justice!

Meet Bolingbabiesrc Wh***ey Trip!

So this HUGE boy went from the bottom two photos to the top two! No, these pictures do NOT do this beautiful boy justice! HOWEVER! His head & body are only beginning to fill out! Just 10 mo old, he has a LONG way to go to hit his prime! He's already well over 4 lb! He has BONE FOR DAYS! His shoulders & backend are MASSIVE!
He also just got out of medical confinement for over a month. Somehow he broke or dislocated his back foot, at the bend in his ankle. It was "flopping" around. I was so worried I'd have to mercy cull. But I talked with Julie Jacobs Boling about what to do. She told me to stabilize it, confine him to a very small area to limit movement. So I took a trip to see another friend who helped create a splint or "cast" from a plastic jug handle. We wrapped it well & 3 - 4 weeks later, it is healed! He is hopping around on it and happy again!

This is long, but SO WORTH the read!

A few other new faces around here!

Each one adds a an important piece to what I envision my rabbits to be! I am slowly building & improving. It takes time. Sometimes I get frustrated that what I hope to get from a pairing doesn't happen. Some stay & grow up. Many do not.
But i love the progress I do see happening!

Fingers crossed my does start taking again & I have little beans soon!

🤞

Some new faces were added last week! I took a gamble on 2 young bucks! I usually do not do this, but they're here for a very specific purpose! To add width to my hindquarters! I'm finding many of my rabbits have narrow, pinched or undercut HQ, even ones that "look" big & full! So these 2 were brought in to help correct this flaw!
Meet:
Maggs Fergus (AKA Checkers)
And
Maggs Chingy
I'm so excited to watch these boys grow up!
Fergus has Henry's Cake on the back side of his pedigree, who is the dam to one of my does, JB's Promise Me Forever! I'm a pedigree nerd! 😂
