Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue

Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue “Love begins at home & it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in that action” ~ Mother T One dog in particlar, Beau, changed her life forever.

Did you know an estimated 2.7 million adoptable cats and dogs euthanized in shelters each year? That’s right, according the the Humane Society of the United States, that’s about 7,397 per day! When Lisa & Lisa discovered that staggering statistic and how little time some animals are given at some shelters, they knew they had to do something about it. On Facebook Lisa Clark began sharing, posting,

pledging, coordinating transportation for dogs with little to no time left at their shelters all over the country. She became part of a huge network of people trying to save the lives of adoptable dogs. She would part of the solution. She was going to save lives, even if it was one dog at a time. She was going to start a dog rescue. In 2013 Imagine Peace for Pups was founded in Kirkland, a suburb of Seattle WA, by Lisa Clark along with friend and animal lover Lisa Nelson. We focus on saving adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters, especially in southern California, and finding them forever homes. Imagine Peace for Pups is a network of foster homes and volunteers working to give dogs a second chance. We have a huge soft spot for pit bulls/pit bull mixes that are often given little to no time, but we are not a breed specific rescue. Imagine Peace for Pups Rescue is a registered charity in Washington state and is a federally recognized 501(c)3 charity.

Today we are living the old adage, “no good deed goes unpunished”

We took in two owner surrenders this past week, Ruby and Baby. Ruby has started on her new journey, and today she saw our vet for a check up. What they found was not good.

Ruby has dental disease, joint problem in one knee, she’s got quite a few lumps and bumps and hadn’t seen a vet since 2021 😳

So, since NONE of this was disclosed to me before we took her on, we were not prepared for this. So, today we authorized bloodwork (she’s peeing all over the house) rabies, vaccines and meds for her joint pain. Total $800.

Coming to our followers to beg for donations. I know I know, it always seems like we’re begging for money, but Ruby deserves to be cared for properly, and her new life starts today.

If you can donate, every dollar counts and we would be so grateful! Please share if that’s what you’re able to do!

Thank you in advance!

Is anyone interested in fostering two of these little boys?
They were found dumped in a box and a rescue friend found them. They are 11 week old lab mixes and have had 3 sets of shots and they are in Eugene. Another rescue is taking 2, so if anyone is interested, please let us know. Any of the two, none of them have been specifically chosen.

This beautiful girl is Peggy. She is looking for a new forever home.

Peggy is a 3.5 yr old female pit bull. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.

Peggy currently lives with her humans in an apt, and she needs more space.

She’s a big girl weighing in at 76lbs!

Peggy was adopted from a shelter a year ago. Her past is unknown. She is said to be good with other dogs with proper intros, no idea about cats. Since she’s such a big girl, we recommend older, respectful kids.

She’s in Edmonds, and if you’re interested in meeting her, please let us know and we can connect you to her people.

A rehoming fee will apply.

Let us know if you want to meet her!

Hello friends-

These pups are not IPFP pups, but we are trying to help find them new homes, their person is in now in assisted living. They are located in Stanwood WA currently.
Here’s a little bit about them

Ruby:
7 year old, Red long haired Dachshund. she is female. She is fixed and up to date on her shots. She is very calm and quiet and loves to be around people and shadow her favorite person. She does have a little bit of separation anxiety. She does get along with other dogs as long as you give her a little bit of patience when first meeting other dogs. She also was best friends with a cat before they passed. She does well with kids after being introduced. She is living in Stanwood.

Baby:
6 year old Brindle Pug Terrier. She is female. She is fixed and is up to date on all her shots. She is very quirky and funny and loves lots of attention. She gets along with just about anyone and anything as long as they are giving her attention. She is also located in Stanwood.

This sweet girl gets to start her new life on Mother’s Day!

Sweet Reid came to us from the Central Valley in CA. Her finder Chloe Anderson took her in and got her healthy, then reached for rescue help. That’s where we stepped in.

We brought her to Oregon to foster and promised we’d find her a perfect home, and we did!!

We hope you have many hikes and adventures in your future little lady. We love you Reid!
