We have our first PDS lamb of 2026! We got our new ram shipped in late this year and Herra went into labor last night. Yeti, our big ram started to get aggressive with her so we had to get the dogs out and separate the ewes. Now she’s happily with her baby in a safe area with food. We have more lambs on the way this week! Happy farm. 🐑 🐕 👨‍🌾

Stardust and I were back in the ring last weekend in Elma, WA for the Olympia Dog Fanciers show! She did so much better than her first time out, managing the environment and allowing the judge to engage with her. We won our “bred by exhibitor” category and were still chasing our first best of breed win. Nice work stardust!

Stardust did great today at the Columbia County Disc Dog Club meet! She’s great at jumping and is finally starting to catch the disc too! So proud of this girl!

We’re so proud of our girl! Stardust started training on how to stack just 45 days ago and we did 40 training sessions in that short time. The crazy environment was too much for her (and me) on the first day so she really struggled, but we quickly adjusted and learned as we went with so much help from the amazing judges and super helpful Aussie exhibitors. By the fourth day she looked like a show dog and was standing tall among all of the chaos. She’s living up to name Stardust Spectacular!

I’ve been working on an “all dogs” command to control all of the dogs at once. They are great at recall but synchronized tasks such as sitting or laying are much more difficult, especially without food incentives. Marley is often the one to hold the group back since she’s gets too excited to really focus at first. Once they all calm down and can finally hear me and understand what I’m asking, they are happy to oblige.
