There’s a reason why we ALWAYS take our cats back. If you don’t want them, you don’t deserve them, and we will continue to love them unconditionally. Geoff has been nothing but perfect since he was abruptly returned after 2 years. I almost wish we got him back sooner so he could feel all the love he’s feeling now. Sometimes the cafe isn’t the worst option for a cat. The worst option is being somewhere where they aren’t loved or valued.

Geoff, you matter so much ❤️

I realize I posted this unboxing the other day without much context. These amazing gingers were surrendered to the shelter when their owner decided they deserve a better life. They had been living in a car together, two got adopted from the shelter, and here are the remaining four. They are all amazing, well cared for, and do well with everyone. Two are five years old and siblings, and two are 10 years old and siblings. They would do well together or separate and in any home. We are open all day Saturday and Sunday to come and meet them.

This senior queen was found outside looking tired, frail, and under the weather. The finder had her scanned for a microchip and assessed at an ER, and she didn’t have a chip, or any visible critical issues. Well here she is. She’s perfect in every way.

We named her Hazel and she’s definitely a super senior. We will have her bloodwork checked next week but for now she’s eating great, relaxing, and getting so much love.

Disclaimer: this cat is my dream cat, but I’m so tired and feel maxed out lately. Can I take her home and let her spend the rest of her days relaxing in a window seat or on my bed? Yes! But if anyone is home more and wants to give TONS of love to a very deserving lady, let me know.

Another disclaimer: she’s perfect 😭 🆘

This is your reminder to adopt an FIV+ cat at least once in your life. Albert is 3 years old and is the most gentle soul. He is so grateful to be indoors, loved, and fed.

NO, FIV+ cats will not cost you more money in vet bills than other cats. NO, they do not have to live separately from FIV- cats. They cannot transmit FIV through basic contact, only deep bite wounds and Albert wouldn’t bite anyone! Albert came into the shelter with a wound behind his ear which is healing up really nicely! If you’d like to come meet Albert, he’s here and would do amazing in any home, with or without other pets. He’s just a really nice guy 🩷

Don’t mind us, it’s Christmas in June ❤️

If they’d let me squeeze them and kiss their mouths I’d do it all day. Cats are life.

Without begging for money and donations, I’m going to hope a lot of you will sponsor a cat(s). These last 2 weeks have been so hard on us and the vet bills have been $7k+, on top of 24 hour pure exhaustion and emotion. We are looking to help some adults and senior cats in need this week if we are able to get everyone sponsored.

Sponsoring our cats helps us to care for them in terms of food, litter, treats, medication, vet care, and any other little surprise needs they come up with. To sponsor a cat is $25 for the month, and if you’d like a photo and letter from them, please send us your email or mailing address.

If you’d like to sponsor a mystery cat we can put it towards the rescue of one of our new ones this week! ❤️ Thank you. We really appreciate you.
