Been a whirlwind of a week with first week of gun season down. Lots of great deer taken and I just want to thank those of you that have entrusted us to handle your trophies. Been a crazy and busy week but We have plenty of room for more. We don’t turn away due to quantity limits we just take em and figure a way to get em done. If you are in need of taxidermy needs feel free to call with questions or to set up time to drop off your deer. We are here to handle what needs to be done. Just some pointers - better to leave too much cape than not thought. Get it cooled down as soon as possible til can get it to Taxidermy - freeze in double bag if can’t get to taxidermy right away. - and if you aren’t completely comfortable skinning the cape - feel free to call us and we will cape it for you. Lots of hunting time left and the cooler temps are sure getting the deer moving. We saw several chasing tonight so hopefully you can still get your trophy. But remember- make memories and take it all in. Beautiful evening and sunset God gives us as we watch these magnificent creatures. One more sleep til the morning a lot of hunters look forward to since the previous year’s opening day of gun season. Although if you are like me there is not much sleep taking place for the anticipation of the day. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it many more times because it is so important - take it all in from the time spent with family and friends to the awesome creation our God allows us to enjoy. The scenery - the moment just before daylight when u start hearing the creatures moving and the bird’s chirping. The crisp air and the thermos of coffee. And the kids asking if it’s time to legally shoot. And I myself believe that whitetails are one of the most amazing creatures God has created. I’m thankful for opportunities to spend in the field as well as God giving me the opportunity to share in your hunts by doing Taxidermy. Which I am here for your taxidermy needs but I am also here to remind you to take it all in. Make memories with your kids and your spouse and your parents and friends, nieces and nephews. Time flies and before you know it- you’ll not have those opportunities. So all to say I hope you have the most successful hunts by making awesome memories and who knows maybe you will get a bonus and get ya a trophy to mount as well. If ya do give me a shout if I can help you out. Would be a privilege. Be safe - Good luck - enjoy every minute.

Hunting season is about making memories to last a lifetime. I know I’ve got memories of hunting and fishing with family that I will cherish forever. I also know of some of my friends who see these opportunities the same way I do. And one day as some know all too well - memories is what we have left because of not being able to hunt or fish with them any longer. I’m thankful for those memories. I am also thankful that I get to do what I love to do. I may not always get to my work because of other obligations that have consumed a lot of my time but when I do - I love it. And I get to extend memories by creating trophy mounts of game and fish. I will attach a few of my recent pieces. But as I was doing paper work and updating my customer map that I have hanging in my shop - I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to do taxidermy for customers from all over the US. I have numerous customers in 37 out of the 50 states and seems like I add a state or two every year. Never even thought I’d ever have the privilege to have customers that far and wide. But I’m thankful God has allowed me to do what I do and that he has blessed me with customers from all over. It would be a blessing to finish up the 50 one of these days but that’s just a cool goal I’ve set. And the thing is - most of my work when looking at pics and names - I have memories of making them smile and being able to enjoy their trophy. If you are blessed with a trophy this season - I’d be more than happy to assist with your taxidermy needs. Enjoy some of the pics and enjoy your season. Make memories and thank the Lord for His beautiful scenery and wildlife. Appreciate each and everyone of you. Good luck and be safe! God bless.

I might mention too that if you would be interested - I would be willing to split the double mount and put on a single base or tree limb - I can use my self made big base for another project down the road. Just trying to recoup some of my loss. Thank ya - PM if interested
