We are in great need of foster homes, for both dogs and cats.
Due to the recent storms, we are also taking in pets from other shelters that are currently shut down due to damage and power outages. Even if you can just take a pet in for only 2-3 weeks, it would greatly help!

Who will I foster?
You get to choose! You're welcome to pick a dog or cat from our Camp Pawsawhile facility that would work best with your household.

How's it work?
CPR provides all the supplies, vetting, etc. and you provide the time and the love. You'll become their companion and advocate until they're adopted -- teaching them skills (if needed), taking them to adoption events, and sharing them on social media.

Isn't it hard to give them up?
We can't lie; adoption day is often full of mixed emotions, as we often get attached to our fosters! But it's also so rewarding to see them happy with their forever family.

Friends of Purrvana who live in the area, please be on the lookout for 2-3 dogs who are terrorizing our neighborhood.
We must find the owners of these animals and make this killing stop!!!

June not only kicks off Adopt a Shelter Cat Month—it also marks the height of kitten season, which means we’re hoping to find more loving homes for abandoned kittens. At Palmetto Animal League, we call these boys “The Misters” because they are proper cute! They are brothers from an all-male litter of six kittens. Three have already found homes, but these lads are still waiting. These well-mannered gentlemen will make wonderful companions.
