Fresh coggins for the girls.

It's crazy to think we're only about 4 weeks away from breeding Ellie Mae.

I'm super excited(and nervous). No doubt that this will be a LONG journey. But I'm here for the ride.

If God blesses us, this time next year we should be preparing to welcome a new foal into the world!

Saturday reflection...

Accountability.

As trainers, riders, and competitors of this sport, we hold our horses quite accountable. Shoulders up, forward motion, stay supple, collect, follow your nose, rate down, etc.

What if we held ourselves to the same standards? What changes would we make? What small daily things are we choosing to do(or not do), that add up over time?

As we end this week and move into the next... What can you be more accountable about?

Not long ago Bo**er asked me about having a faster horse one day. And I told her "By taking better care of the one you currently have."

Since then she has really stepped up and taken her responsibilities more seriously. Filling up hay bags, wanting to ride without being told, stall cleaning, etc.

Very proud of her effort.

Recharge time.

I won't be posting much on here this winter.

With Ellie Mae being out my focus is shifting to other areas:

✓more time with God, family & friends
✓growing my tack business
✓upgrades around the farm
✓rediscovering myself and my goals

This is a hard time for me personally. And I truly believe God is calling me to give up some things for the time being. With this comes trust in Him.

Some days I wonder if it's all worth it and I get consumed in trying to figure it all out. But, I have a sense of hope and peace for 2025 being a great year.

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to everyone!

For the time being, I am not accepting anymore client horses.

Sometimes God moves a mountain into our path not so that we learn to climb it, but that we learn to rest in the valley while HE prepares what's on the other side.

And then, when the time is right He will move it again.

To my clients(most of whom are friends) I greatly appreciate you trusting me with your wonderful horses.

I truly enjoy training and I learn from every single one I interact with.
