We took Henry to our daughter's dance recital this past weekend! This is what service dog training can look like. Dogs are not born knowing what to do, us as trainers have to do put them into situations that could cause issues and train them how to respond best.

He has started getting sketchy with people being behind him in crowded areas so this was the perfect place to work on that.

This is why our service dogs are with us for a minimum of a year... as the puppies get older and are exposed to new things, they need confidence to ensure when they are in a new situation they aren't scared. This helps us see where we really need to work on and help them so they can be ready in any situation.

We've created a sensory place for our puppies!!!

This is a way to help with sudden noises in different varieties, mixed textures, and all that by being in a smaller setting.

We will use this to help them gain confidence so when we are training in new places with different sounds and textures it won't be as scary!

‼️We wanted to let people know that June is currently BOOKED‼️

We are not longer taking reservations for June but July is still open with some kennels free!

Summer months are busy, so a couple reminders:

1. You must have a meet and greet done BEFORE the dogs stay and at least 2 weeks before reservation

2. We do not hold spots for people, therefore, we cannot promise your dates will be available after meet and greet so it's important to make your Paw Partner account ASAP and get those dates saved!

Got a pup between 5 and 18 months old? You’re not alone—can you relate?

We’re right there with you! Henry is about 8 months now, and some days it feels like he’s forgotten everything we’ve worked on since he was 2 months old. One minute he listens, the next—he’s doing his own thing 😅

Is it frustrating? Absolutely. Some days he’s spot on, and other days... not so much. But we’re not giving up—because beyond becoming a service dog, Henry needs the structure and boundaries that training gives him.

So here’s what we’re doing:
