Hi everyone,

I know I've been completely MIA, so I wanted to check in with an update. This past year has been quite a rollercoaster. We relocated to a new state, the hubby deployed, and most recently, my siblings and I tragically lost our Mom a few months ago.

My Mom was involved in so many aspects of my life, including my dog training business. When she would visit, many times she would tag along during my sessions. It was a blessing to be able to share my love for working with you all and your dogs with her.

I don't know what the timeline looks like for my business, but right now I know that I need to take the time to navigate this immense loss. I appreciate the love and support from all of you!

Hey everyone and happy Friday!!

I know I've been pretty MIA, so I wanted to give a quick update. Just as we were getting settled into our new location, we found out the hubby will be deploying. Since I hadn't begun training in our new location yet, I decided it was best for our family to take a little bit longer of a break to soak up as much time together as possible and continue to get settled in. With that being said, I will be continuing training in full swing, in person and online, after the holidays!

In the mean time, I will be open for virtual sessions on a case by case basis. If you are in need of training, please reach out and we will discuss how I can best serve you and your doggo.

Hey y'all!

Our recent move has brought up a new subject that I'd like to share some information with you all on. It can be difficult and stressful to find someone trustworthy to look after our fur-babies while we are gone. Let's talk petting sitting. If your trusted vet office has a boarding facility, that is great, especially in case of emergency.

If you're wanting a more personal experience for your pet, here are my top concerns to look for when searching.

- Does the sitter have experience and solid references and reviews to back up the stated experience?
- Pet CPR certified? This can be life saving for your pet in case of emergency.
- Vaccination requirements?

Summer is in full swing and so is the heat! It’s important to know the dangers of the summer heat as well as other things to think about while we enjoy time outdoors with our pups!

Here are a few tips I implement to ensure Sasha and Bandit can enjoy the summer with us while staying safe!

🐾 Check the weather in advanced to know how to plan accordingly. On days where it’s 75°+ we wake up early for a cool am walk or playtime. Then they get another walk or playtime in the evening as the sun goes down when it’s cooler.
🐾 Check the sidewalk/pavement before going on walks! Place the back of your hand down for at least 7 seconds…. If it’s too hot for you then it’s too hot for them!
🐾 Bandit knows to relax when he’s getting tired but Sasha (our high-drive girl) will play until she passes out if I let her. Don’t wait until your pet gives you the signs of exhaustion before making them take a break, even if it doesn’t seem “that hot.”
🐾 Mentally stimulating games will help fulfill your pup while beating the summer heat! If you need some ideas, let me know! 😊
