Sadie is battling severe immune-mediated anemia -- she has been in and out of the hospital for weeks getting immune globulin therapy, blood transfusions, IVs, etc. She is a trooper and Mom has been taking exceptional care of her at home!

Lately, Sadie has been too weak to go on the walks that she LOVES, so, for now, she and her "favorite-person-ever" get to stroll around the neighborhood in comfort and style! 🥰

Sadie needs everyone's well wishes and positive thoughts right now! Mom is reading these comments to Sadie so let's give her encouragement!

With the increasing temperatures and holiday weekend coming up, we wanted to remind everyone that ANY dog can easily get overheated on a hot day. Always provide your pet with cool, fresh water and shade if outdoors for extended periods of time. Remember, they can’t sweat like we do and most are wearing a heavy fur coat. If you are at all concerned that your pet has overheated, bring your pet indoors, place cool, damp towels on their neck and feet and call your veterinarian immediately. DO NOT immerse them in ice water as that can cause shock.
