Fish Bumper is live — our new social media page.

This new spot will feature boards for all species. Walleye, bass, pike, panfish and more. Same concept, just not limited to one kind of fish.

Muskie Bumper isn’t going anywhere. That page will stay focused on muskies and the boards built for them.

If you fish for more than muskies, follow Fish Bumper and keep both in your feed. And make sure to tag us in your photos!

I spy a Scheels Outdoors bumper with the new shovelnose sturgeon record 🔥

The shovelnose sturgeon record has been broken! 🎣

🐟 Marisa Pettiford of Rosemount caught this 36.5-inch shovelnose sturgeon from the Mississippi River on Oct. 24, 2025. The fish surpassed the previous catch-and-release record by 1.5 inches. The beautiful fish was released back into the river to continue to grow.

🐟 Since the catch and release state record program was updated in 2024, this is the THIRD time the shovelnose sturgeon record has been broken!

🐟 Make some plans to get out fishing and see if you can get into the record books for one of the many species with records not established yet!
