Received a wonderful surprise in the mail from North American Lionhead Rabbit Club - both a Certificate and Medal awarding myself as a National "CHARTER BREEDER".

I am truly honored to have achieved this status with having bred rabbits for over 35 years. I can't begin to explain the work involved in earning the required number of points over numerous years to reach this goal. Thank you.

I want to express my sincere heartfelt thanks, love and appreciation to all my friends especially those in the rabbit community that have helped me over the years. None of it would have been possible without your helping hands and support.

Most know my health issues are numerous and have been ongoing for a very long time progresing now to stage 4 - I can't even eat salt or pepper on food.

But more importantly than myself is my husband's health issues - he is currently being checked for Parkinson Disease, falling, numerous symptoms, no longer can not be left home alone.

So many people have asked how could they help - My RV is the one last Rabbitry item to be sold - please spread the word - I will offer a buyers finder bonus for a finalized sell of $1,000 when it is confirmed gone.

RV Motorhome Forest River SunSeaker 22.90S foot - 2016 approximately 58,000 miles, gasoline. 6 new tires, 2 Queen beds, 2 tvs, bathroom with shower, full refrigerator automatically changes from propane, battery or electricity. Ramsey Creek's Rabbitry is now completely and permanently done.

First all Lionhead left for Tennessee.

Next all Britannia Petites left for Louisiana.

Finally all New Zealands left for Vancleave.

Including all cages, supplies, etc....

Last yet to go is my RV Motorhome.

It's so hard getting old and having health issues for both myself and husband.

WOW - What a Show Day. What an entire week - ARBA 101th Convention Rabbit Show, Louisville, Kentucky 10/27/2024 Approximately 27,363 entries with 52 breeds.

Wednesday 12 hour drive, then volunteered for ARBA stapling up coop cage cards.

Thursday volunteered for ARBA compiling Registration packages and then getting our rabbits cooped into the building.

Friday volunteered for ARBA signing in people with the Check-In packets and with my Lionhead NALRC booth set-up.

Saturday volunteered with ARBA Arts & Crafts getting entries displayed, also attended (2) Judges Conferences.

Show Day - up by 5:00am didn't finish until almost 8:00pm. Ran rabbits for tables a good portion of the day. Also had Board of Directors meeting for NALRC.

Very pleased with how my rabbits placed up against huge numbers of competition.

Excited to share that Ramsey Creek's Iceland and Ramsey Creek's Norway will be relocating to the Country of Canada.

Didn't get many pictures, sooooo busy. An experience like no other. Until you've been there, you just can't comprehend all that is involved.

The next few days will involve more meetings, auctions, raffles, more shows, banquets, Checking-out which is a huge process and a long, long drive home.

Where do I begin... Until you've been to a Show with an entry in the event you might not understand why we love participating in this hobby. It's not just for the wins... it's for all the friendships we've gained over the years, all the hugs we receive, all the helping hands, etc... We get to meet the grandparents, the children, the boyfriends, the new babies, the loss of family members, we become involved in each other's lives.

Mississippi Rabbit Breeders Association hosted a great event October 4-5, 2024, in Philadelphia, MS. Nancy Christian Chris Christian Tater Sullivan Sandra Parker Layna Pedro Acevedo and several others always run a wonderful event with several Specialty Shows.
