UPDATE on Lucky!
Lucky was seen by Dr Pence and will be having surgery to remove the large abscess on his face Friday morning
June 13. It was one of the biggest they have seen and the location is odd also. We are praying it hadn’t affected his naval cavity or the bone in anyway. The abscess was drained to relieve some pressure and skull radiographs were taken today as well before surgery tomorrow.

His surgery will be costly around 500 as of now, if anyone would like to help him we would appreciate it.

UPDATE on the Bunny at the Shelter
In Baton Rouge Louisiana.
She WILL NOT be going to a Petting farm to be manhandled and stepped on.
She has been adopted by a lady in Metairie Louisiana right close to our exotic vet and hers as well. She has bunnies and has decided to take her.

Thank you Leigh Patricia Schmitt for saving her and adopting her.
Thank you Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital of Louisiana for letting her hang out with you for a little while.

Thank you Ashleigh Soniat for always watching out for the bunnies in Baton Rouge and pulling them for us.

And thanks to all of our Lola & Friends Bunny Rescue of South MS Inc. friends who offered to foster her or take her and shared her post.
We only wish all the bunnies at the shelters were this LUCKY.
LOLAS has plenty of bunnies up for adoption or foster if you have space.

Lola & Friends Bunny Rescue of South MS Inc. and all of the 100+ Bunnies want to thank Small Pet Select for the donations of Hay and supplies. They are the Best. Hay is one of the most needed items at the Rescue.

Meet Miracle.
Found Sun Dec29 in the City of Slidell, Louisiana Running loose at the Pinecrest RV park located right on the marsh. She is only 6-8 weeks old with chewed up ears, possible mites and parasites but hopefully not much of anything else. Somehow she survived that flooding rain from Saturday night. She has her checkup today and will need to be spayed/neutered at a later date.

If anyone would like to HELP with her vet cost and sponsor her spay/neuter
when she’s old enough. We would be so appreciative. Thanks to all of you.
