20 puppies in one week from the same street.
Cotton Valley, LA. The first ten last week didnāt make it (see earlier post). These are stable for the time being and Iām hopeful they will be in tip-top shape in no time.
Michelle Benson Lewis, Kristy Tilley, and Tabitha A Rasberry to the rescue again. Anthony crawled under (video in comments) and got the 10 babies to safety.
At what point will LaMa save enough dogs to put a dent in the issue? We try to educate, reach out to the community, and offer free services to help people before it gets to thisā¦ but Iām at a loss! Itās so time consuming and so expensive to keep doing this. We try for grants, we try outreach, we try it all. But at the end of the day thereās still a kid having to crawl under a burnt up house to rescue sick puppies. If I never heard āCotton Valleyā again I would be stoked ā no offense if you live there ā itās just out of control there with these strays and loose dogs dropping litters nonstop!
Obviously we need supplies. Wormer, Ponazuril, Microchips, the works. Can you chip in?
