We have a sweet, young man that is available to a new home. Otto is a smaller standard AKC poodle who’s almost 4 years old (7/9/21). Otto was set to be our new stud after passing his health testing of hips/elbow/cardiac/eyes which he did. Unfortunately, he was also diagnosed with glaucoma about a year after his initial eye exam. We have been able to keep his eyes under good control with daily eyes drops. We are looking for the perfect family for him that is willing and able to attend to his eye health needs. He does well with having them administered after doing it for so long now. He’s a very sweet, not quite shy boy who would love to have a buddy. He does well on walks here around our property and down our rural road on lead. He can be a little unsure with new surroundings due to his poor eyesight but does well once familiar. His fee would be the cost of his neuter here or with your vet. He does well in car. We just want him to have the best forever home possible.
He went to see Dr Hayes and got his vaccines updated so he is ready to go to his new home. Dr Hayes confirmed he has no sight in one eye and sees well from the other.
