So this needs to be said because apparently this is becoming wildly common and a very poor horsemanship practice in barn...

So this needs to be said because apparently this is becoming wildly common and a very poor horsemanship practice in barns that a lot of braiders are seeing.

Your TAILS are not to be left in for more than a day, period. This is horrible horsemanship, it is going to result in your horses not having any tail hair and let’s face the facts here - that hair is not meant for beautifying it serves a purpose to protect them from elements so please stop being cheap and have them rebraided daily or just don’t braid the tails at all.

If this posts rubs you the wrong way because you’re the one guilty of “cheaping out” and leaving tail braids in then I’m not sorry - this is for the safety and well being of YOUR horses.

If you need clarification as to why this is poor horsemanship then please feel free to ask - no one will yell at you but instead they will educate you.

💥If you need braids please get ahold of me as soon as you possibly can so I can make sure I have you covered.💥

✨This is also a large PSA to those hiring me or hoping to - DO NOT USE SHOW SHEEN, CONDITIONER or any other “sleeking/slicking” products in manes or tails you wish to have done. I will absolutely not be braiding horses who have product in their hair this year. Manes are also expected to be pulled by the owner/trainer/groom prior to me getting there.✨

🦄 REMINDER: if you are a NEW to me client you will be required to pay day of services. Day of services means the night you expect your horse to be braided you need to have left Cash(hidden somewhere I know of) or sent Venmo by 6pm the day of. If you do not provide payment then I will not provide braiding/grooming services.
