When a coat becomes this pelted, sometimes the kindest option is a fresh start.

This sweet mini Goldendoodle was severely matted to the skin, so we carefully removed his coat to give him comfort and a clean slate. The good news? This little fella is now on a recurring grooming schedule to help prevent this from happening again.

This 1 year old came in for his very first groom as a matted little mess. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is start fresh and reset the coat.

He was an absolute champ, and now his coat can grow back healthy and comfortable. 🐾💙
