I've had a passion for animals since before I could even walk. My parents told me I would crawl to the family's pets just to be able to interact with them, or at least crawl so that I could observe their actions. My grandparents own a farm in Pennsylvania that once homed pastures of horses, chickens, dogs, cats and even the occasional pig or goats and, thankfully, I spent a lot of time there growi

ng up. I began taking pictures with a plastic Fisher Price camera around the age of 7. Not long after, I built my first portfolio collection! After my mother would pose us for holiday photos, I'd con my two younger siblings into "sessions" with different "backdrops" (bed sheets) just to get portrait shots of them. Sorry about all that, Alexis and Joseph!) Growing up in scenic Maryland, I loved photographing flowers in or around the house, my wonderful parents, veggies from the backyard garden and (you guessed it) the family's pets! Running around with the dogs, chasing chickens, and stalking cats were all normal tasks for me, just for that perfect shot! My personal sessions still go down like that! I get on the ground and play with your pet, possibly getting grass stains or sand in my nose but again... whatever it takes for that perfect shot! I've worked with the shyest of cats and the toughest of dogs and time after time, the owners are impressed. I love a challenge! So that's me folks. Last weekend, I was honored to capture The World Series of Comedy at McCurdys Comedy Theatre here in Sarasota, a very first experience for me. This was tricky with the different lights as the comics moved around stage but I had a blast!

My Story
