The LAST FRIDAY 📆 group @ Chesbro Canyon and Kirsten Nilsson One of my favorite groups because I do love a good old fashioned quarter horse and there are a lot here! Today she earned an exclamation with her name 😉 She is quite funny and today she was full of beans. Not pictured from today Southern Belle and Caramel Machiatto - sorry!!

Bristol ♥️ he has become one of the my favorites to cheer on as he blossoms with those gorgeous blue eyes and blondness.

LAST THURSDAYS 📆 Tell me your story 📖 One of my most rewarding experiences is when a horse exceeds expectations; when they become something greater than their story. Smoke came from the PineRidge reservation in South Dakota. He was a race relay horse…and today? Today he is a budding hunter jumper dressage working equitation horse of all trades- what a wonderful life he is leading with melanie ramsayer ♥️ I love a good transformation story 😊🐴😊 I love when the owner/rider believes in the horse and lets the story unfold to their promises..

Lucky T ♥️ Exceeds expectations. Always.

Thor 🦄♥️ A talented and true unicorn! Winner of multiple international and national hunter derbies, Thor is just one cool horse. He is also a reminder of the breadth of community. June, his owner, was the original owner of my Sky and I am forever grateful for her trusting me with Sky.

Pie ♥️ A newer client and one who has made leaps and bounds improvements! He is a bit of a miracle horse 😇

Arya ♥️ This mare raises the game every session.

Dino ♥️ Keeping it all in the family- I worked on his sore, Diesel CF and finding soooo many similarities…which is a great thing!

Gemma ♥️ the smartest one in any room. There is truly nothing better than a smart bay mare 🐴

Thank you for sharing your horses and all the collaboration along the way- it’s truly wonderful. Everyone in your barn from Camille and Theresa to Christian and all the owners/riders are caring and a joy to be around. Tino ♥️🐴 One of the greats in my book. I have loved seeing your talent blossom 🌸

Last SUNDAY of the month 📆 When I started this tribute to all the horses I see in celebration of my ten year anniversary, I didn’t expect to be get so introspective on community and deep into their history and just how much the horses have my heart and my hands 🙌 aostables you have been such a big part of my life the last six or years. Natalie - you have a way of matching horses and humans and not only training but instilling connections. I look forward to your Sunday (and overflow days 😉) so much ♥️ Pascal (above) there isn’t a monthly session with him that either his owner, myself or both of us cry because he’s just so darn special.

Ransom Ransom Katy and Ransom prove that dedication, consistency and love can pretty much overcome any condition. Thank you Ransom for being the best rehab client like- EVER. You do it all Equicore, Balance Pads, Pole work, stretches/activations and conditioning sets. Everything made you better ♥️ Ransom you are the best Try-er 🙏 thank you.

Oh Magic 🪄 you are the kindest horse and your person loves you so. Magic thank you for always showing up with love 💕

Chappy 🦄 Uni.Corn.

Mikey ♥️ You are so talented and game ⭐️ thank you Natalie for being a 1% believer that if it will improve Mikey 1% you will give it a go. It’s ALWAYS about the horse and I respect you so much.

Cheeeeeese - an old friend in a new place ♥️🎉

Hamilton - I have the biggest crush on this horse! Hamilton you have taught me so much and just like all the riders who are lucky and good enough to ride you, you make us all better horse people whether in the saddle or for me, on the ground. You are the master at showing “feel” I have learned to do enough and actually release before my ego says to do more. It’s hard to put into words because it is truly a FEELING with you. Thank you Hamilton for trusting me and making me better for you.

Aria ♥️ she is truly beautiful and I didn’t get a photo of her face today! She is the one most likely to stomp her foot to get what she wants…actually what she deserves 😉♥️

A random Friday off (sort of see Barbie and Trinket ➡️)
I was not a horse crazy girl growing up. Yeah I know hard to believe right? It was always dance 💃 ALWAYS. As long as I can remember my afternoons spemt in dance studios, weekend rehearsal rooms, stages. Watching movement in mirrors. At some point I became enchanted by movies- moving pictures, images flickering in the dark and revealing character and humanity and stories and places beyond my imagination. Dance and movies- always movement. Movement makes sense to me and the language of how we move and present ourselves to the world. Then one day…that love of movement became all about horses and how they communicate and really, movement is a lot, if not all, of their language. And I love it. So dance, movies and horses 🐴 things that MOVE me to my core. Anyway…I went to the ballet 🩰 and it was magical, beautiful and transporting.

Barbie and Trinket are going to a show next week so they got body work in preparation. I love these mares ♥️♥️

The best Trinket ⭐️

THIRD THURSDAYS 📅 are usually for new clients and first sessions and/or quarterly horses. Today was a combination of new clients and horses I’m seeing for the second time. It was wonderful discovering a new horse area in Bradbury today! You would think after close to doing this 10 years I would have been to most places but nope! There is a more to discover and more horses to see 🐴🦄🐴 It’s a blessing to be working in a barn on a rainy day! Thor post body work session - he did great for the first time ♥️

Chrissy demonstrates poll and neck rotation post body work 😉🦄♥️

Some horses just have deep souls and with patience and an unfurling on THEIR time- they will show your their glimmers. Aquino is one of those deep soul guys ♥️

Love me a bar with beautiful trees 🌲
