Tuesday and FryDay

These two little love bug boys are searching for their forever family!

They're incredibly cute, playful, and full of personality. They love zooming around the house during playtime, and once they've burned off their energy, they're more than happy to curl up in their foster's lap for cuddles.

They're almost ready for their spa day and will officially be available for adoption soon!
In the meantime, they can go home now through our foster-to-adopt program. That means you can welcome them into your home right away while we continue to cover their remaining vaccinations and neuter appointments as they settle into their new lives.

Interested in meeting these sweet babies?
Send us a message. They can be adopted together or separately if you're looking for a companion kitty.

If your cat needs dental work, which many cats do! - this is the best way to get on the schedule st Operation Spay Bay.
Dental work is very intensive and long procedures. It can be hard to get in at your vet - and of course it is costly because of the amount of time takes.

KITTEN SEASON IS HERE — and they’re arriving fast!

Yesterday alone, we welcomed 8 new kittens into our care! These little ones will now go through our rigorous vetting process to make sure they are healthy, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered before heading to their furever homes.

We currently have:
🐱 Tabbies
🐈‍⬛ Black kittens
🤍 Tuxedos
✨ Long-haired, medium-haired, and short-haired babies

And yes — we even have one Siamese kitten! She will likely be spoken for quickly since we already have a waiting list for Siamese kittens.

At 30A Cats, every kitten receives the care, medical attention, and love they deserve. Before adoption, they’ll spend time in foster homes where many will learn to live with dogs, become socialized, and adjust to life as happy, healthy, well-loved house cats.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting a kitten, keep an eye on our adoption queue — these babies will be ready as soon as they pass all evaluations and complete their care.

Send us an application so you can be on our waiting list!

These sweet 30A kittens are almost ready for their furever homes!

They were found abandoned and rescued just in time. To keep them safe from predators, they were temporarily placed in a bucket until help could arrive - and now they are thriving in foster care!

These two adorable boys are flying through all the steps to prepare for adoption.
They've already had their first round of shots, and next up are their booster vaccines and neuter.

One of the best things about these little guys? They are completely unfazed by their foster DOGS! If you've been hoping to add a cat to a dog-loving home, these boys would be a perfect fit. They're playful, affectionate, and already proving to be total lap kitties.

Stay tuned — they'll be ready for their forever families soon! Or reach out and let us know you’d like to meet them!

Traveling with Cats: Tips for a Safer, Less Stressful Trip

Traveling with cats takes preparation and the right gear. Before any trip, make sure your cat’s vaccinations, microchip information, and ID tags are fully up to date.

It’s also important to help your cat get comfortable with:
A secure, escape-proof harness
An airline-approved travel carrier

Car Travel Tips
Never allow your cat to roam freely in a moving vehicle. Secure the carrier with a seatbelt in the back seat or place it snugly on the floorboard.
To reduce motion sickness, avoid feeding for 3–4 hours before travel while still providing water.
Never leave cats unattended in vehicles — temperatures can become deadly within minutes.

Air Travel Tips
Always book your cat in the cabin under the seat in front of you whenever possible.
Contact airlines early since in-cabin pet spots are limited and usually require a fee.
At TSA, you’ll need to remove your cat from the carrier. A harness and leash are essential to prevent escape. You can also request a private screening room for anxious cats.

Packing Essentials
Keep these items easily accessible:
Pet-safe wipes, paper towels, trash bags, and enzymatic cleaner
Disposable or collapsible litter box, scoop, and familiar litter
Familiar blankets or bedding from home
Vet records, health certificates, p*e pads, and portable food/water bowls

Talk to Your Veterinarian
If your cat struggles with anxiety or motion sickness, speak with your veterinarian a few weeks before traveling. Medications like Gabapentin or Cerenia may help make travel safer and more comfortable.

Thank you for helping us build a more cat-friendly 30A community!

We’ve been reading lately about how many people are searching for kittens 8 weeks old or younger. We wanted to take a moment to educate everyone on what these tiny kittens truly need to survive and thrive.

Many young kittens are found outdoors struggling to stay alive — facing predators, searching for food, and often battling parasites, worms, and respiratory illnesses.

When kittens enter rescue — whether through a kind individual fostering them or through a rescue organization — they require immediate and ongoing veterinary care. Kittens need a series of core vaccines beginning at 6–8 weeks old to protect them from serious and potentially fatal diseases such as rabies and feline distemper. They also require booster shots every 3–4 weeks until they are approximately 16 weeks old.

At 30A Cats, we proudly work with Cat Clinic of Destin to make sure every kitten gets the best possible start to their nine lives. Our goal is to ensure each kitten is healthy, socialized, domesticated, and fully prepared for a loving forever home.

If you’re looking for a new kitten, please make sure you understand and follow proper kitten care and vaccination protocols. Or better yet — consider adopting from us! We work incredibly hard to make sure our kittens are healthy, safe, and ready for you to love.
