So as most of you know, the rest of the story and I coached him for the next 11 years or so in football, baseball and basketball. As they say, history repeats itself. I am again attempting to open a hatchery with poultry. I currently have about 900 hens that are laying about 400 eggs a day and will get up to 500-600 eggs a day before it slows down again. In the spring (or maybe earlier) I am going

to start incubating eggs from the 10 breeds of birds that I currently have at the farm. Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Delaware X's, Americaunas (Easter Eggers), Red Sex Links, Black Sex Links, Astrolops, Buff Orpingtons and Red Broilers. I will be selling to the public as well as local feed stores. I currently sell eggs from the farm for $4.50 a dozen for normal sized eggs and $5.50 for Jumbos. These birds (as you can tell by the photos) are free range from dusk to dawn only to be put up at night in their secure pens. Feel free to call me anytime for questions or to see if eggs are available. I advertise on Craigslist and Facebook for sales. I would love to have you for a customer as we feel we have some of the finest and most fresh eggs available on the Market.
