Good evening doggie parents! I wanted to pop in and let everyone know that all the kids boarding with us are safe and sound.

When we received the tornado warning for our area, staff immediately implemented our tornado emergency plan and moved all the dogs to a windowless interior room. We luckily did not experience a tornado, but everyone was prepared to get through it safely within a secure location with lots of treats and snuggles.

I am always very thankful for my crew, but especially tonight. Huge shout out to the Tails staff!

Meet Lucy and her emotional support cone. She came in with a small knick on her tail and likes to try to chew on it so she needed the cone for a bit. Since then, we have tried to give her some time out of the cone but she cries until we put it back on. Message received, Miss Lucy 🫡
